They ask you, mother or daddy, "What will I do now about school, I can't walk it." It's too far to walk, I can't get over the creek, it's raining too bad, it s too cold and sloppy to cross the hill, my shoes leak, I got. no coat to wear, I wish we lived close to scnool or on a nignway, so l could ride the bus." Just stop and pause for a moment. think of yourself. Get your eyes open you who have boys and girls in scnool and those that have had them in school who have now passed on out of those hard but not forgotten days. Look forward to the luture families to follow yet. Don t try to deprive the future and the boys and girls of something that vou were deprived of in your growing- up days, uet your neads up, not down. Stop for1 a moment and think ano ngure wnere our money, that we pay for taxes goes to. We will pay the same nercentaee of taxes out on the creeks and mountain sides as those along the roads pay and we can't get one dime spent for anything. Still we pay. Lets be fair and honest, let's live and let live. We have shared 12 years now with others. Now let's get together, leave politics at home or throw them away for all time to come and elect our county officials. Men who are quaimed to serve you face to face with honesty and share with you for the next 4 years a part at least of what we have shared for the past 12 years. I will furthermore promise you if elected Justice of the Peace that I win use every means possible to protect your schools and churches and all public gatherings from any unlawful disturbance or interference and will use the fullest extent of the law to those coming in contact with same. I will also urge that the working statute penalty be added on to any one that comes in contact that same and that prisoners do a fair and honest days work whatever hours the statute may call for, under a reliable and competant man, and that there wont be any more trusty prisoners and that they will be treated as prisoners and those that don't believe in working auiiuies aim penalties oi prisoners must stay within the bonds of law to prevent same. The above statement that I have made is the principles that I mean to fight for and to stand up for and those that don't approve of same should vote for the other man and not for me. If I am nominated and elected, I expect to deal with all alike and strictly stand by all, not uy a lew. Your vote and Influence will be appreciated, Respectfully CHARLES F. BLAIR . Pd PO.
